Like Earli-Loring, Topaz is derived from Loring. A bit larger and redder than Earli-Loring, Topaz has also has outstanding, incredibly delicious flavor. Freestone, but flesh is a bit softer than later canning varities such as Elberta. Ripens a few days after Earli-Loring, early August in the Willamette Valley.
